Rare: Whitney O Holy Night video from One Wish

Not sure how this surfaced, but check out Whitney Houston in this rare music video for her beautiful rendition of O Holy Night from her 2003 One Wish Christmas album.

Whitney's overlooked gems Part 1: Where You Are

Ahh...many of us Whitney fans are so hung up on her most powerful, influential ballads, such as I Will Always Love You, I Have Nothing, All The Man I Need - and rightfully so; but these songs were so big and iconic, they'd seemed to overshadow other precious gems in her balladeer catalog. One of those beautiful songs were Where You Are.

Where You Are, was on Whitney's sophomore album self titled Whitney, and has become one of her most overlooked vocal performances on record.

With clean, pristine, fluid vocals, this gem soothes the soul as Whitney's voice give you the coloratura we've always known her to be. Throughout the song, Whitney's agile soprano is like hearing water pour from a waterfall while relaxing on your couch.

Towards the end of this classic underdog, Whitney's signature belting, runs and head-voice are on full display; and the little vocal run she did at the end was one of the most beautiful use of melismatic singing I'd ever heard.

Article confirms budget of Sparkle and possibly hinting a Whitney-involvement in the remake of 'Annie'?

I thought it was kind off odd how they spoke about Annie right after mentioning Sparkle. Article does confirm that Sparkle has a 10mill dollar budget; should be a shoe-in for Sparkle to diminish sales at the box office. Here is the relevant info extracted from the article:

Like Alcon, Sony bucked Hollywood convention by green-lighting the African American-led "Sparkle" remake, which it will release Aug. 10 through its TriStar label. The film, which aims to revive Whitney Houston's career, poses a relatively modest risk for the studio, costing $10 million. Likewise, the studio says it is high on -- though hasn't yet greenlit -- a big-budget "Annie" remake, which would mark a teaming of producers Will Smith and Jay-Z and star Smith's daughter, Willow.

Whitney Houston – Live in Japan 1991!

FULL CONCERT! (video for this one; NOT just audio only) I own this concert on DVD. Now it's available in it's entirety on Youtube. Great concert! Whitney's voice was awesome and she did a heck of a lot of dancing too, lol.

Whitney Houston – Live in New York 1994! ('Bodyguard' Tour)

FULL CONCERT! (video for this one; NOT just audio) Amazing concert. Fan-recorded video that is shaky/dark at the beginning but the cameraman gets it together after Whitney comes out on stage. Good audio. Whitney sounded stellar and I loved her look (the hair & the dress. She looked like a beautiful vixen Goddess when she emerged onto the stage). Another one of my favs!
